DeepBrain AI, a leading generative AI company in South Korea, announced on the 9th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seoul Cyber University to develop "AI Professors."
The signing ceremony took place on the 4th at DeepBrain AI's headquarters in Gangnam, attended by key officials, including Lee Jung-soo, Director of Business Development at DeepBrain AI, and Kim Si-won, Head of the Content Team at Seoul Cyber University, who committed to active collaboration.
Through this partnership, DeepBrain AI and Seoul Cyber University aim to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of online course content development and accelerate innovation in educational programs using AI. They aspire to lead the digital transformation of the education environment in the AI era and advance the edtech industry.
DeepBrain AI will utilize deep learning-based AI Human technology, integrating voice synthesis and video synthesis based on video and audio data provided by Seoul Cyber University, to develop 10 AI professors and 3 AI teaching assistants. They will implement lip-sync technology to create natural mouth movements as if a real person is speaking and will use text-to-speech (TTS) technology to support multiple languages, including Korean, English, Russian, and Vietnamese.
Additionally, DeepBrain AI will provide the AI video synthesis platform "AI Studios," enabling easy production and editing of content featuring the AI professors. This platform allows for the creation of lecture videos at any time and place without complex filming processes, thereby reducing overall facility costs. AI Studios includes a Text-to-Video feature that automatically assembles appropriate background and music based on uploaded commands, URLs, or documents, enabling high-quality content creation.
Furthermore, DeepBrain AI plans to conduct training on using AI Studios and AI ethics for faculty and students at Seoul Cyber University. This initiative aims to enhance the AI utilization capabilities of participants and establish a correct perspective on digital crimes related to AI.
