DeepBrain AI, a leading generative AI company based in South Korea (CEO: Eric Jang), announced that it won the Excellence Award at the ‘Beijing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition’ held in Beijing, China, on August 2nd.

The ‘Beijing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition’ is co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and other related Beijing institutions. The event aims to select companies with innovative technologies to create quality jobs. A total of 2,704 companies across various fields, including ▲Artificial Intelligence ▲Silver Economy ▲Green Economy ▲Rural Revitalization ▲Manufacturing ▲Service, participated to showcase their technological prowess.

Among them, DeepBrain AI was notably the only non-Chinese company to participate. DeepBrain AI competed in the AI category and presented its video synthesis platform, ‘AI Studios,’ which was recognized for its high level of technology and innovation, leading to the Excellence Award.

AI Studios is a platform that supports video production using virtual humans based on generative AI technology. It offers high convenience by allowing users to easily convert and produce various types of content—such as keywords, links, articles, and reports—into videos without the need for a script.

Additionally, besides utilizing pre-existing virtual humans, the platform provides the functionality to create personalized avatars in real-time by using a webcam or by uploading images and audio files, enabling diverse and customized video presentations. The finished avatars share the user’s voice and can speak multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Chinese, increasing their versatility.

Through this award, DeepBrain AI will receive various benefits aimed at revitalizing marketing efforts in the Chinese market, including ▲policy support ▲financial services ▲entrepreneurship support. Specifically, the company plans to accelerate its business in China by leveraging policy support related to entrepreneurship, corporate promotion services, and financing-related financial services to ensure smooth business operations.

In addition, DeepBrain AI has actively engaged in the AI human business in the Chinese market. The company has collaborated with major media outlets such as CCTV, China's state broadcaster, and Beijing TV to implement ‘AI anchors.’ It has also won awards at events such as the 2023 China Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 2023 World Internet Conference (WIC).
